Our Founders
Dr. Raghavendra K. Sharaph
Orthopedic Surgeon · Co-founder, Turiya · Bengaluru
I spent over a decade as a joint replacement surgeon. I was trained to fix what was broken — quickly, precisely, completely.
Then I burned out.
Not dramatically. Slowly. The kind that builds quietly until you can't ignore it anymore. I kept seeing the same thing in my patients too — people arriving sick because they had never been taught how to stay well. Push through. Stay busy. Figure it out alone.
I started exploring what I hadn't been taught in medical school — how the nervous system holds stress, how the body carries what the mind can't process, and what it actually takes to recover. Not just rest. Real recovery.
That's why Turiya exists.

Chandini Atmakur
Trauma Therapist · EFT Master Practitioner · Co-founder, Turiya
Before Turiya, I spent years in high-performance corporate environments — including Flipkart, where the pace was relentless and the pressure was real. I was good at it. I was also, quietly, not okay.
The turning point came when I found EFT — Emotional Freedom Technique. I was skeptical at first. Then I noticed that things I had been carrying for years started to shift. Not because I had finally thought my way through them. But because I had finally felt my way through them.
I trained as a trauma therapist and EFT Master Practitioner because I wanted to offer other people what had changed things for me. Especially people in high-pressure lives who don't fit neatly into traditional therapy.
